Charles Eisenstein is a teacher, speaker, and writer focusing on themes of civilization, consciousness, money, and human cultural evolution. He is author of several books, including the recently published, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible.
Charles describes how our understanding of what's real is changing. Old science says the self is separate from everything else in the Universe. As a result we are in it for ourselves and compete to control, dominate the other for our survival.
New science shows we are interconnected, interbeings. This new story or understanding of the world encourages generosity and forgiveness. It inspires and empowers us to act in service of something larger than ourselves. It allows us to let go of the struggle for control. It leads to synchronicity, where we experience a more beautiful world that our heart knows is possible.
I love this message of truth. It's the kind of world I want to live in. Everyday I chant that I'll have the courage and awareness to seek opportunities to be of service to others. It's so true synchronicity increases when we open ourselves to this.
